The World

This morning, I was listening to a Trance Lecture from Circle. We are now at the stage where we can ask questions, and someone asked of Spirit, “And what of the World at the moment.”

The Guide paused for a moment and said, “The world is an amazing, wonderful, and beautiful place – but that is not what you are asking is it my dear. You are asking about the state of the world as it is right now and how can we, as spiritual people, help. Correct?”The Guide shared that we must not think that someone else is going to fix this, we must take responsibility for our own thinking, our own belief systems and, most importantly, our own actions.

“Many come into this world to experience so many things. Some experience war, famine, poverty and so on. Some stay on the Earth plane a long time, some for a short time and each has something to contribute and something to learn for the greater good of the whole.

Never think you are going backwards - that is not possible.  There are so many more that are working on solutions and stretching themselves to make a difference in this world and we would challenge you with the question, are you one of them?

Are you making a difference in your life, in the lives of your family and friends, to the animal kingdom, especially those that you care for, the neighbourhood you live in, the communities that you belong to, let alone Mother Earth as an entity.

Yes, there is much to do so, do not delay by thinking, ‘I can’t try. Who am I to try anyway.’ And it is in your gifts that you will triumph, and your gifts are those things that you love to do.  You may say, ‘Oh well, I don’t have the time or the money to do anything and I have too many responsibilities.’  Excuses, excuses, excuses.

And when bad things happen, which happen to everyone in one way or another, or indeed when we do something that is bad which, we all have done from time to time even with the best will in the world, and we have trouble forgiving ourselves and forgiving another, and so the blaming goes on instead of the actions of working towards a better world.

We would share this saying from Jonathan Lockwood Huie, “Forgive others, not because they deserve forgiveness, but because you deserve peace.”

Remember, we are all Spirit, living in this beautiful world, and that means we are all equal. You are not more of a Spirit than the next person, and, if you have given your power away, claim it back, and if you have not forgiven yourself, begin now. Love is the way through everything, and we are all capable of that.

When you find yourself distracted with what they have done, what they are doing, or what they have said, or you disagree with this and that, bring yourself back to center. You are unique. You are powerful. This world is an amazing, wonderful, and beautiful place.”
