EVERY HUMAN BEING ON THE PLANET IS PSYCHIC
Can you imagine living for ever, being well, no health problems, financial problems or any of the other difficulties you confront in living in your community, your country, in fact just living in this wonderful world of ours.
Impossible you say. All through our lifetime, the experts are telling us otherwise. Everyone knows the cycle of life; we are born into the world, we grow, learn and experience the wonders of our world, until we die. We leave the planet.
What happens then? A mystery only known to the experts according to their own religious training, which they only can clarify for their followers as long that is as the followers abide by their particular rules, set out over many years, by many different leaders often incorporating prejudices held by the group over time.
Over the years references to this universal power is called God and is often referred to in the masculine, i.e. King, Lord and so on, humanising something that is far greater. As intermediaries between this great being of light and us, each group has its own Gurus, Saints and Masters who have at some time, usually long ago, lived a saintly life and bring the message of how to live a good life, as appropriate in their era, which will be rewarded by returning to the heavenly realms and the Master as the physical body is returned to the elements of the earth. At this point the soul is released from the earthly limits and will unite with other believers in the heavenly realms.
This concept is a reasonable, basic explanation of how our lives here and beyond, link up at the death of the physical body.
The problem I have is that their message does not tell the whole story.
Where is the evidence? We are told by the leaders of these organisations that we must have faith. We must accept the stories of the miraculous events that happened thousands of years ago that are the basis of their scriptures.
Why are these events not replicated in their faith today? Yes, from time to time, exceptional individuals do emerge within their community displaying the gifts which manifest with their Founder Master. The answer to this question by the leaders of these groups, as to why we all do not have these abilities is that there is a lack of faith, and the sinful lifestyle of the people today limits our ability to replicate the abilities of these great old spiritual masters. Simply put, we are not good enough.
The reality of Spiritual practices in the modern world today is that the heavily structured practices of the orthodox religions which are entrenched in our modern western societies are not being embraced by a very large group within them.
However, within the core of human consciousness there is a part of us that seeks to understand our real, whole, human being. Who we really are. We instinctively know there must be more to us and fortunately, we can do something about it. HOW?

With guidance and practice this can be developed and will provide you with comfort, help, guidance and confidence to live well.
It is no fluke that the old cultures such as Hindu, Buddhism and many native cultures have practiced meditation as an integral part of their religious practice.
Meditation is a fundamental requirement to change the way the brain operates, to be able to enhance your spiritual development, which in turn enhances your quality of life as well as becoming a better human being to the benefit of your family, community and the world at large.
It is true that in every society there are people who have a natural ability to experience psychic phenomena in a variety of different ways with women being more adept than most males. For many, it can be frightening and so they will try to suppress the experiences. For others it may be the awareness of the presence of a loved one who has died and wishes to be recognised and or has a message for the benefit of that person.
Often this sense of awareness can present as a hunch or strong impression to act to prevent a difficult or dangerous situation which logically would not be considered.
For these people, over time they get to trust this “intuition” and follow through to act upon it.
One of the scariest ways this ability presents is for the person to actually see or hear clearly, a loved one who had died. Often it is so unreal to them that they will avoid telling anyone about this until it either gets too constant or too strong. Usually, they will tell a friend who is known to dabble in “this type of thing”.
In Australia there are many groups involved in the training and development of these very natural abilities. One of these groups is The Victorian Spiritualists Union, (VSU) founded in 1870 in Melbourne and now based in North Melbourne with affiliated churches in Victoria.
This group provides a forum for different speakers to present their understanding of the church’s philosophy which has been developed through the practical experience of the founders and their successors up to the present day.
Each meeting comprises prayer, a lecture, a healing prayer and a demonstration of Spirit Communication by one or two Mediums, bringing evidence from them to a loved one who is in attendance. The purpose of the reading is to provide solid evidence by description of that person in Spirit, maybe their name or the name of the person receiving the message, other details of events in the family, other details of significance.
Other sessions for Meditation and healing classes are held during the week.
There are Spiritualist Churches or groups all over the country which are usually run by a small group of dedicated people often with limited resources.
