PROOF OF LIFE DEMONSTRATION

We were fortunate to enough that Mariam could fill in for Michelle O’Connell and give the ‘proof of life’ demonstrations on Sunday after Michelle had a family emergency.
Mariam is gentle and quiet and reflective in her manner of listening to and bringing forward information from those in Spirit.
Beginning with a portrayal of the person she is seeing and hearing, Mariam asks who in the congregation recognizes the description.
Once that relationship has been established, Mariam quietly proceeds to give the message. There is always time for the receiver to reflect on what is being said and for Mariam to add any other information as seems fit.
Her contact with the Spirit world is strong as are the messages she is asked to impart.
It seems to me that watching Mariam work is rather like being part of a Meditation. Her delivery is unhurried, and her manner is one that ensures calmness is maintained during the reading even when the manner of passing was one of extreme sadness. The result is one of completion and acceptance and hope.
